This 'Affiliate' Business In Disguise Must Print Money

I was reviewing online business listings and I ran across a listing that reminded of possibly the most genius affiliate marketing business I’ve ever seen. I’ve observed it now for nearly 10 years.

They sell themselves to home service contractors as a way to offer financing to their customers. They promote their value prop as financing without dealer fees (consumer financing charges a feee to the dealer). They charge the contractor a small fee (I recall it being about $500) to get set up with their own branded portal which the contractor can direct customers too. In reality they are not proper consumer financing that the contractor can use as a sales tool. The portal simply includes affiliate links to 3rd party financing companies. Each lead probably goes for about $100. They’ve got THOUSANDS of contractors set up. As an online business owner; it’s a beautiful thing.

That leads me to this next listing.

This 2 year old ‘SaaS’ business makes 277k/yr and is listed at an asking price of 935k. It’s described as “B2C & B2B SaaS company that provides a comprehensive platform designed. to help businesses offer personalized lending solutions to their customers.”

Sounds a lot like Gethearth huh?

From the teaser I can’t tell exactly what this business is/does, but it seems interesting!
