This is an aged Saas business in a very large market. The stats of active subscriptions, unique accounts, MRR, and customer lifespan are solid. Things get interesting when they talk about the growth. US revenue has declined since Covid. The listing talks about employing cold callers, reestablishing US presence through conference attendance, and the reason for selling being that the seller cannot move to the US to pursue growth. All of that sounds very odd to me. Not bad, just odd considering it is a software business. With small 10 year old software businesses, it is not uncommon for the tech to be dated or lacking compared to competitors, but these days AI coding tools make it relatively easy for any one motivated to jump in and start pushing updates. At 3.16x you get a SaaS business which is seemingly stable and established. That’s fair. If I were going to get into it I would look for ways make the customer acquisition fully digital, no outreach or conventions OR increase the customer value. Quick math of revenue 412k divided 430 unique accounts shows this is relatively low ticket and the b2b sales model they are running/proposing scales poorly.

I’m now trying to send these out quicker and from my phone so excuse the lack of formality and proper grammar.
